Modevant (“Modevant”, “we”, “us”) designs and sells gymnastics leotards, apparel and accessories through our online store at modevant.com. We are responsible for the personal information collected through this website.

Information you give us

• When you place an order: your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, the products and sizes you order, and any order notes you add.
• When you create an account: your username, email address and password (stored in encrypted form), saved addresses, order history and wishlist.
• When you contact us: your name, email address and the content of your message, whether through our contact form, email, phone or social media.
• Team and club enquiries: details you share with us about custom team leotard orders, such as club name, quantities and sizes.
• Blog comments: if comments are open, the name, email and comment you submit, plus your IP address and browser user agent to help detect spam.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, links clicked and time spent on the site.
• Approximate location: we use your IP address to estimate your country so we can show the right prices, currency and shipping options.

03How we use your information

• To process, ship and deliver your orders, including pre-orders, and to send order confirmations and updates.
• To manage your account, saved addresses and wishlist.
• To respond to questions, sizing help requests and team or club enquiries.
• To show prices and currency for your country.
• To understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it, fix problems and make shopping easier.
• To measure and improve our advertising, including on Facebook and Instagram.
• To prevent fraud, keep the site secure and meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We only send marketing emails if you have agreed to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

04Payments

We offer card payments (including Apple Pay and Google Pay) through Stripe worldwide, and Whish Pay and Cash on Delivery in Lebanon. Online payments are handled directly by our payment providers (Stripe and Whish). Your full card or wallet details are entered on and processed by the payment provider; we do not store your full card number on our website.

Payment providers process your information under their own privacy policies.

05Cookies & tracking

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them for the following purposes:

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop the cart and checkout from working. You can also manage ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram settings.

06Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the store, and only as needed:

• Delivery partners, to ship your order (name, address and phone number).
• Payment providers, such as Whish and Stripe, to process payments.
• Website hosting (Hostinger) and website software providers that store and run our site.
• Analytics and advertising partners: Microsoft (Clarity) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram).
• Authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights, customers or others.

07How long we keep your information

We keep order information for as long as needed to fulfil your order, handle returns or exchanges, and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. Account information is kept until you ask us to delete your account. Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to respond and follow up. Analytics data is kept according to the settings of the tools described above.

08Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
• Ask us to delete your information, unless we need to keep it for legal reasons.
• Object to, or ask us to limit, certain uses of your information, including marketing.
• Withdraw consent you have given, at any time.

To make a request, email info@modevant.com. You can also update most account details yourself in My Account. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

09Children’s privacy

Many of our products are made for young gymnasts, but our website and online purchases are intended for parents, guardians and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10Security

Our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

11International transfers

We ship worldwide, and some of our service providers are based in other countries. This means your information may be processed outside the country where you live. When this happens, we rely on providers that protect personal information appropriately.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we add new features or services. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last changed.
